1.1. The Ecosystem

Davis Enterprises provides shared infrastructure to support the talent pipeline lifecycle: Recruit → Prepare → Match → Experience → Develop → Measure → Advance. We facilitate connections between individuals seeking professional experience and organizations seeking to build capacity and develop talent.

1.2. Not an Employment Agency or Job Board

Davis Enterprises is an experiential learning and talent development platform. We are not a traditional staffing agency, recruiting firm, or employer of record (unless explicitly stated in a specific workforce-development contract).

• For TalentWe provide tools, profiles, and program matching. We do not guarantee employment, specific internship placements, or compensation.
• For OrganizationsWe provide access to talent profiles, program infrastructure, and partnership models. We do not guarantee that a specific candidate will apply, accept an offer, or successfully complete an assignment.

2.1. Talent Profiles

To create a Davis Enterprises Talent Profile, you must be an emerging professional, student, recent graduate, or individual seeking additional professional experience. You must be at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18 (e.g., a high school participant), you must provide verifiable parental or legal guardian consent to participate in programs.

2.2. Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration and intake process (including education level, skills, and employment status) and to update such information to keep it accurate.

2.3. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

A. For Talent (Emerging Professionals)

• Application IntegrityAll information provided in your Talent Profile, résumé, and professional statement must be truthful and accurately represent your skills and experience.
• Program ParticipationIf matched with an internship, fellowship, project-based experience, or workforce program, you agree to adhere to the specific guidelines, hours, and professional conduct expectations of that program and the host organization.
• No Guarantee of OutcomeDavis Enterprises provides exposure, skill development, and experiential learning. Completing a program does not guarantee future employment with Davis Enterprises or the host organization.

B. For Organizations (Business, Government, Nonprofit, Education)

• Organizational IntakeOrganizations must provide accurate details regarding their structure, capacity to host/sponsor, and the nature of the opportunities they are offering.
• Compliance with LawsPartner organizations are solely responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal labor laws regarding internships, fellowships, employment, and workplace safety.
• Host/Sponsor ObligationsIf an organization agrees to host or sponsor a participant, the organization is responsible for providing a safe, professional environment, meaningful work assignments, and appropriate supervision.

4.1. Opportunity Listings

Davis Enterprises posts opportunities on behalf of partner organizations. While we strive to ensure listings are accurate, we rely on partner organizations to provide correct details regarding location, format (in-person, hybrid, remote), program dates, weekly commitment, eligibility, and compensation status.

4.2. Compensation

Compensation (or lack thereof, such as in unpaid academic internships or grant-funded workforce programs) is determined solely by the host organization or the specific program sponsor. Davis Enterprises acts only as a facilitator and is not responsible for negotiating, disbursing, or guaranteeing wages, stipends, or academic credit.

4.3. Sponsored Cohorts & Custom Programs

Organizations sponsoring cohorts or custom workforce initiatives must adhere to the funding, timeline, and execution terms outlined in their specific institutional contracts with Davis Enterprises.

5.1. User Content

You retain all ownership rights to the information, résumés, portfolios, and professional statements you submit to Davis Enterprises. By submitting this content, you grant Davis Enterprises a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your profile information strictly for the purpose of matching you with opportunities, programs, and partner organizations.

5.2. Organizational Content

Organizations grant Davis Enterprises a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display their company name, logos, and opportunity descriptions on our platform to attract and inform talent.

5.3. Platform Content

All website design, text, graphics, logos, the "Davis Enterprises" name, and the "Talent. Experience. Opportunity." tagline are the exclusive intellectual property of Davis Enterprises. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish our platform content without prior written consent.

You agree not to use the Davis Enterprises platform to:

• ViolationsViolate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
• HarassmentHarass, discriminate against, or intimidate other users, participants, or Davis Enterprises staff.
• False InformationPost false, misleading, or fraudulent information in a Talent Profile or Opportunity Listing.
• Data HarvestingDownload, scrape, or attempt to harvest user data or opportunity databases using automated tools.
• Malicious CodeIntroduce viruses, malware, or any other malicious code to the website.
• Unauthorized SolicitationUse the platform to solicit business or sell services unrelated to the Davis Enterprises ecosystem without authorization.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these policies.

The Davis Enterprises website contains links to third-party websites, CRM integrations, and external partner organizations (e.g., LinkedIn, university portals, corporate websites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or safety of these third-party sites. You access them at your own risk.

8.1. "As Is" Basis

The Davis Enterprises website and all associated programs are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8.2. No Guarantee of Matching

We do not guarantee that a Talent Profile will result in an internship, fellowship, or project placement. We also do not guarantee that an organization will successfully recruit or match with a participant.

8.3. Third-Party Conduct

Davis Enterprises is not liable for the conduct, actions, or negligence of partner organizations, host sites, mentors, or program participants. Interactions between talent and organizations occur at the users' own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Davis Enterprises, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from:

• Access IssuesYour access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the website.
• InteractionsAny interaction, transaction, or relationship between a Talent participant and a partner Organization.
• Data LossAny loss of data, business opportunities, or prospective profits.
• Security BreachesUnauthorized access to or alteration of your data.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Davis Enterprises and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or damages—including reasonable attorneys' fees—arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your misuse of the platform. Organizations agree to indemnify Davis Enterprises against claims arising from their treatment of hosted talent or sponsored participants.

Davis Enterprises reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the platform at any time, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, acted unlawfully, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in Washington, DC, for the resolution of any disputes.

Davis Enterprises may revise and update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our programs, legal requirements, or business practices. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after any changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
